Will Grier honored as 2014 Parade National Player of the Year

Will Grier may already be on the University of Florida’s campus, starting his career with the Gators, but he’s still receiving recognition for his incredible year at Davidson Day.

On Friday, Grier was honored as the 2014 Parade National Player of the Year.

Grier is ranked as the No. 2 quarterback and No. 46 overall player in the class of 2014, according to Rivals. He finished the 2013 season with 4,989 yards passing, 77 touchdowns, and just 11 interceptions. He also added 1,251 rushing yards on 115 carries.

*UPDATE* A couple of Gator greats showed support for Grier on Friday.
