New York Giants safety Will Hill arrested, will play against Detroit

New York Giants safety Will Hill was arrested on Saturday. New York Daily News reports that Hill was detained on charges related to child support.

The arrest continues Hill’s turbulent trend with the team. He was suspended in 2012 for using Adderall in violation of the league’s substance abuse policy. Hill was also suspended the first four game of the Giants’ 2013 season for admitted marijuana use.

While on the field, Hill has been successful for New York. His 45 tackles are good for fifth on the team. Hill is also tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles.

The Giants have stated that Hill will play on Sunday against the Lions.
