On Monday, ESPN announced the hiring of Tim Tebow as an analyst on the new SEC Network. As with all things Tebow related, fans reacted with strong opinions.
Nearly immediately after the announcement Twitter exploded with speculation on how well Tebow would perform as an analyst. On one hand, he is a legend in both the SEC and NCAA. On the other hand, he is an incredibly nice guy taking on a job that requires objective criticism.
Below is a sampling of the immediate reaction from football fans across the country.

of course, Tebow will be a fine ‘tv sports analyst’. but remember, when ESPN eventually hires Peyton Manning, Tim will have to move to FOX.

Tim Tebow has the life. A championship ring, a heisman trophy, backup NFL QB, and now a football analyst position. He wins. #cashhimout

Hard to imagine Tim Tebow being edgy, never mind controversial, in his ESPN analyst gig. Wonder if network gives him forum to make NFL pitch
