Joker Phillips struggled as the head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats until he was fired effective at the end of the 2012 season. However, that does not change the fact that he was a great collegiate receiver in his day and he possesses a wonderful football mind.

That holds especially true at his former position, and Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp understands that.

Thus, Muschamp brought Phillips to The Swamp to teach his wideouts how to better do what they were brought to Gainesville to do.

Now, Phillips is also striking out into the recruiting sphere, and we are digging his new tactics.

We’re also digging the photoshopped Blue ‘n’ Orange Gators jacket the movie Joker is sporting here.

What do you think, Gator Nation? Will wide receiver recruits want to ‘Play for the Joker’?
