Stanford Cardinal Football Shuttle & Gameday Transportation

Shuttle Service

Stanford University does not offer a football shuttle for fans on gameday.

Public Transportation

There are several ways to get to Stanford Stadium using public transportation:

  • BART:
    BART provides transit service on the San Francisco Peninsula and throughout the East Bay. Stanford riders can connect to BART at the following stations:  Millbrae, Fremont, and Union City. For BART information, visit http://www.bart.gov.
  • Caltrain:
    Stanford Stadium Caltrain Station located at Embarcadero Road and Alma Street is just a short walk to the stadium. Caltrain will serve all Stanford home games for the 2011 season. For information, visit:

  • Marguerite Shuttle Service:
    The Marguerite Shuttle is a free shuttle service that travels the campus loop. For a schedule visit:http://transportation.stanford.edu/marguerite/
  • SamTrans:
    SamTrans connects the Palo Alto train station (and the free Marguerite shuttle service) to all of San Mateo County (north of campus), including service to the San Francisco International Airport. For SamTrans information, visit http://www.samtrans.com.
  • Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition:
    Stanford University is a bike friendly campus. The Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition will guard your bike during the game. For information visit:  http://bikesiliconvalley.org/content/1740
  • Valley Transportation Authority (VTA):
    The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) runs along El Camino Real. For a schedule and fares visit:http://www.vta.org/index.html
