Georgia safety Bacarri Rambo just gave Alabama bulletin board material, things just got real

| November 26, 2012 at 11:35 am | 8 Comments

Thank you Bacarri Rambo for turning the volume up to 11 on a game that already felt like it was bigger than this year’s BCS championship game.

According to Saturday Down South, Rambo gave Alabama some bulletin board material on ESPN Radio when asked about the talent of the Bulldogs vs. that of the Crimson Tide.

In all fairness, the talk show hosts eluded to the fact that the Bulldogs were more talented, and what was Rambo supposed to say, “no we aren’t as talented”?

The last thing any player wants to do is give the king of the mountain that is the Alabama Crimson Tide any extra motivation, and you better believe that Nick Saban and Co. will use this in exactly that manner.

Is UGA more talented?

I guess it would depend on how you grade the talent. I grade it out based on production and mostly on wins. See, UGA does have one thing that Bama does not have – Mark Richt and his horrible record in big games and against top tier teams.
They only played 2 in the Top 10 this year, being annihilated by USC, and then even with 6 turnovers, barely beating a Florida team by 8 points with UF driving for a possible tying score…. and UGA didn’t play Texas A&M, LSU, Mississippi State, or Bama (of course they will now).

Bama on the other hand has played in PLENTY of top games including SEC Championship and National Championship games and WON!

So if one wants to argue talent in favor of UGA then fine. I’ll stick with coaching and winning against better competition than UGA has done.

I agree 100%, We have got a big talent gap when it comes to coaching!!! We have a lot of players that were there last year and know how to win big games!!!

Georgia does have a lot of talented players no doubt, but to say they have better players at every position across the board !!! If they are that talented then they should have beat South Carolina even on a off day !!! I remember Coach Saban say only the strong survive, but sometimes the strong get their ass whooped!!!!

There is TALENT, an THEN there is CONSISTENCY. Georgia has talent and Bama had Talent. BUT..Bama understands PRODUCTION better then Georgia does. I am a Bulldawg Fan, Don’t get me wrong, it will all come down to who steps off the bus and KEEPS their HEAD in the game for the entire game..

Oh look, here’s a sleeping bear and I have a pointy stick. I should definitely poke the bear, right???

    Thank you, Bacarri Rambo.

I will now, without hesitation or doubt, GUARANTEE a Bama win on Saturday. They ALWAYS take trash-talk to heart, and the use it to fuel their fire.

    ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

My experience is that trash talk should occur AFTER the evidence is left out on the field…..Less crow to eat that way.

I will say that I am surprised by the lack of class being demonstrated by several of the UGA star players. Shows lack of self-control and class. Saban has instilled more character in his players than to allow them to behave in such a way.

  • really

Let’s see…SEC Championship and a shot at a national title is on the line. If it takes this comment to get ‘Bama fired up, then the Tide is in trouble.
