Starkville is the quintessential small sized southern college town, so don’t expect a raging nightlife. There are two main entertainment areas that are comprised of only a handful of bars: The Cotton District and The Old Main/Downtown District. The Cotton District is located just to the west of campus along University Dr. Most of the bars here offer patrons an open air feel with outdoor patios. Here you’ll find popular college hang outs such as Bin 612 and The Cotton District Grill. The Old Main/Downtown District is located in downtown Starkville on Main St, just a little further to the west than The Cotton District. Here you will find a variety of bars and restaurants.
