Let the Games Begin – Tyrann Mathieu and AJ McCarron Twitter Beef

College football never sleeps. Neither do the players or the Twitter-verse. Case in point: Tyrann Mathieu and AJ McCarron started an old fashioned Tweet beef on Tuesday.

What better way to entertain the fans during the boredom of the summer months?

Circle that date (Nov. 3) on the calendar Tiger and Bama fans. It’s going to be an epic showdown in Death Valley for SEC supremacy. The trash talking is just getting started.

The tweets kept coming from the two, however someone in the upper echelon of the LSU football program must have caught wind, and told Mathieu to remove his tweets.

Mathieu: “everybody have a good game every now and then try having a great season back 2 back 2 BACK! DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIP NOT YOU.”

Mathieu: “@10AJMcCarron you have 1,THE school has 14! you play your part well thanks to great coaching! but anyways we’ll talk nov 3rd!”

McCarron: “@TM7_Era Ur right the TEAM.. That’s how we play as a TEAM.. We stick together through our losses and wins. #thatswhatmakesusgreat #wehave14″

The 2012 football season is less than three months away, and already the hype and anticipation is mounting.
