Cordarrelle Patterson is seen as a mid-to-low first round NFL Draft prospect, despite his relative lack of experience. He left Tennessee after only one year on campus. Patterson earned All-American honors at the JUCO level in each of the two years prior to arriving in Knoxville.
Why would an NFL coach or GM want Patterson over players with far more game film and far more time spent at the Division I level?
Because the guy is an athletic freak. He showed off the star quality that could make him great at the professional level in the ESPN Sports Science labs.
