WVU DE Korey Harris arrested for robbery while wearing team-issued sweatpants

Hasn’t now-former West Virginia defensive end Korey Harris ever seen a movie?

You always go full-black for a robbery attempt. Well, at the very least, you try not to wear a pair of team-issued sweatpants that have your No. 96 right on them, right?

Wrong, apparently. Harris was arrested on Friday in connection to a July 12 robbery that allegedly took place in Morgantown. He and two others broke into a home, holding two victims at gunpoint as they robbed the house. One of the victims was able to identify the St. Augustine, Fla. native by his No. 96 sweatpants, according to WV MetroNews.

Harris played in 11 games as a freshman for coach Dana Holgorsen’s much-maligned defense, collecting four tackles. However, after the team was made aware of the situation, Harris was dismissed from the Mountaineers outright.
