Nick Saban fires back at Bob Stoops and his SEC comments in most Nick Saban way possible

For those keeping count, Alabama has taken home three of the last four college football national championships. The program who won it in between Alabama’s run? Auburn. The teams before the Tide’s run? Florida and LSU.

Now, what do these four teams have in common?

They’re all from the SEC.

Thus, when Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops openly ripped on the conference from his spot in the Big 12, the sports world took notice — and laughed.

That apparently includes now-legendary Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban, who can barely take Stoops seriously.

Saban on Stoop’s quotes about SEC: I’ve got more important things to do than sit around and read what Bob Stoops has to say about anything.

But wait, it gets even better:

From @tide_source: Saban: “Well, we don’t play everybody in the Big 12 or whatever it is, so I really don’t know much about their league.”

Do we actually think Saban doesn’t even know what league it is?

He is a college football coach; Saban is paid to know absolutely everything about the college football landscape and he absolutely knows where Stoops coaches.

That makes this diss even better.

Take a look at approximately the 3:40-mark of this video for Saban’s comments (via AL.com).
