Mason Plumlee observes that Brooklyn’s mascot looks like a Power Ranger

Mason Plumlee must be used to playing for teams with funky mascots. After starring for Duke and enjoying the exploits of the Blue Devil mascot, he was drafted by the Brooklyn Nets at No. 22-overall during the league’s recent draft.

One look at the Nets’ new BrooklyKnight mascot, and Plumlee had it pegged:

 

Well, Plumlee did not have it pegged, exactly. After careful digging, the fine folks over at The Sports Geeks figured out who the BrooklyKnight’s doppelganger is. As you can see, Plumlee’s identification is pretty spot-on, but it’s not a Power Ranger – it is one of their dreaded enemies, Lord Zedd.
