With Maddon on the market, the Twitter speculation kicked up to 11. Who will be Tampa’s new manager? Do the Cubs have the inside track? Will the Braves’ front office by committee cast Fredi Gonzalez to the wolves and make a run at Maddon? Let the games begin.
You have my attention. RT @simmonssteve: An unconfirmed rumour at exec levels of baseball has Joe Maddon going to the Cubs.

I think Joe Maddon is a good manager, but it would be really confusing to have two Joe Ms around here.

Like everyone else, Joe Maddon got tired of watching games at Tropicana Field.

Name me five better in-game managers in the game today than Joe Maddon. So far I have Bruce Bochy and Buck Showalter. MAYBE Girardi.

Who are we kidding? Wilpons don’t even have enough money to buy a copy of Madden, let alone sign Joe Maddon

Joe Maddon should go to a team that has really good players. It’s the key to being a great manager. #ProTip

The last time BJ Upton was good it was for Joe Maddon. Kill two birds with one stone by hiring him or at least is seems that simple.
