Kentucky came into today’s game against Ohio State with only one loss on the season; the Buckeyes had five.
It was no surprise that Kentucky was favored to run away with this game, but it seems like Ohio State came in with different plans.
Ohio State led by 12 points at the half, closing it out with this amazing buzzer beater three-pointer by JaQuan Lyle.
Ohio State continued to dominate, leading by as many as 16 in the second half. Jamal Murray was the only hope for the Wildcats as an impressive effort from him made it a one-possession game.
Murray finished the night with seven 3-pointers and 33 points.
This is only the second time Kentucky has lost this season. Their first loss came against UCLA earlier this month.
Kentucky’s next game is Saturday against No. 19 Louisville.
