2017 Four Star Receiver Prospect Decommits From LSU

Once again, the decommitment bug has struck the world of college football recruiting. This time, one of top players in the state of Louisiana is looking outside the state … for the time being.

Stephen Sullivan, a four star wide receiver from Donaldsonville, sent this classy and respectful tweet announcing the reason why he was no longer in the 2017 class for the LSU Tigers:

Kudos to Sullivan for doing it in such a class way. No one can fault players for wanting to explore all the option for what is, in many cases, the most important decision in their early lives. Too often, players do rush into the decision and keep jumping from school to school. Sullivan is taking a step back, taking a deep breath and doing what is best for him and his family.

While LSU still is in the race for his services, other schools such as TCU and Auburn are reported to have jumped into the conversation as a potential landing spot.
