In the eyes of media members who cover the ACC, the Clemson Tigers are the team to beat in the 2015 season. The Tigers were picked to overthrow Florida State in the Atlantic Division, while sophomore quarterback Deshaun Watson was voted the preseason player of the year in the league.

As it turns out, Watson is not the only person wearing orange who the media thinks is the best in the conference. The league released their preseason all-conference teams, and Clemson led the way with five players selected. Florida State and Virignia Tech were not far behind with four players from each team on the list. Pitt running back James Conner was the leading vote getter of all players on the team:

Offense
WR – Tyler Boyd, Jr., Pitt

S – Quin Blanding, So., Virginia

Special Teams

KR – Ryan Switzer, So., North Carolina

You will notice there are three teams not represented: Boston College, Syracuse and Miami. While the first two aren’t shocking, it is surprising that not one Hurricanes player was able to get enough votes. That will either be fuel for the ‘Canes this season or further proof that Al Golden’s seat is justified in being hot.
