Michigan State Hero Praises Michigan Hospital Following Injury In Saturday’s Game

In a period of seconds, Michigan State’s Jalen Watts-Jackson went from enjoying being the hero of a wild finish to being a patient needing medical help. Watts-Jackson is the man who scooped up the botched punt by rival Michigan and took it into the end zone for the winning score as time expired.

After the play and during the celebration, he suffered a fractured hip that will keep him off the field for the remainder of the season. Suffering the injury on the road meant he would need surgery and have to recover at the University of Michigan’s hospital … just moments after breaking the hearts of all Wolverines fans.

No problem, says the Spartans’ hero:
