On Saturday, perhaps the biggest shock of all came when Michigan State toppled Ohio State, handing the Buckeyes their first loss of the season and possibly killing their playoff hopes.
With a tie game at 14 and time expiring in the final quarter, Spartan kicker Michael Geiger drilled a 41-yard field goal to give his team the improbable road win.
Naturally, the kicker was amped up and in a radio interview immediately after the game, he couldn’t contain that excitement.
The reporter interviewing Geiger wasn’t sure what to do with that and threw it back to the broadcasters who rolled with the punches.
It’s hard to blame Geiger. He was the hero in what might be the school’s biggest win of the year. He can curse as much as he wants.
