While all of Gainesville, FL was celebrating a strong debut for the Florida Gators and new head coach Jim McElwain, New Mexico State’s night went from bad to worse when they returned to their team bus at midnight, ready to go home.
During the game, the bus was broken into and burglarized, as the culprits made away with several valuables.
Mario Moccia, director of athletics for the Aggies, chronicled the whole event.
Moccia, at the very least, seemed to be in good spirits, but judging from that last picture, the players probably weren’t too happy to have some of their valuables stolen after a 61-13 shellacking at The Swamp. At the very least, Florida reached out on social media.
