Players and fans of the fourteen schools in the SEC love to brag about it, while fans and players of every other school in college football get tired of hearing about it.

But after the 2015 NFL Draft concluded, the truth was out there again: the best conference in all the land is the SEC.

the league sent the most players to the pros, with 54 players getting picked from the schools. It’s the ninth straight year the league as led all the others. The ACC was second with 47 players, followed by the Pac 12 (39), the Big Ten plus four (35) and the Big 12 minus two (25).

It’s interesting to note that the top two schools in terms of draftees were not from the SEC. Florida State sent 11 players to the pros, part of a record setting three year run. Louisville came in second with 10 players. After that, it was the Florida Gators sending the most players pro from the conference with 8. Alabama and Miami tied for fourth place with 6 players.
