And just like that, the series is tied. Who else but LeBron James would have the stones to knock down a shot like this with not just the game but possibly the series on the line?
James had a hell of a game with 25 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists. With Kyrie Irving still suffering from a foot injury, James had to step up and carry the team.
Many thought a loss for Cleveland in game four would have certainly meant the end of the road for the Cavaliers. But it’s a brand new series now with it tied at two games a piece and going back to Cleveland.
As good as Derrick Rose has been in the past two games — 61 points combined — it’s hard to imagine Chicago stealing another game from the Cavs on their home court. Game four could have easily gone Chicago’s way, and James ripped out from under them with one shot — a heart-wrenching, hope-killing shot.
Buckle up, folks, this series just got interesting.
