Over a year ago, the second NFL player in just months came under fire after allegations of domestic violence against his girlfriend. Greg Hardy, then a member of the Carolina Panthers who now plays for the Dallas Cowboys, was arrested and charged … leading to a trial that got him suspended by the league (the case would later be worked out when Hardy reportedly reached a settlement with the alleged victim, who refused to cooperate with prosecutors).
This week, the charges were expunged from Hardy’s record. Now, the website Deadspin.com is releasing photos of the victim, Nicole Holder, after the incident, some of which are disturbing:
The Cowboys have said they have no comment regarding the release of the pictures. Hardy missed the first four games of this season for his role in the incident, a punishment that some will say should have been worse in light of these pictures.
