Everyone’s fav image of perfection send internet into tailspin!
Hold on to your butts, because Chip Kelly and Tim Tebow are trying to #BreakTheInternet. On Monday, Adam Schefter fired up the Twitter world by announcing that The Chosen One was working out for the Philadelphia Eagles. If you thought the internet was crazy before this was announced, just look at some of the reactions from around the twitterverse:
And just like that, the Twitterverse went nuts. Some laughed. Some cried. Some cursed. Some prayed. All reacted. Take it away, folks.

And the transition from Swish to Tebow is now under way for Twitter… — Jimmy Traina (@JimmyTraina) March 16, 2015
Chip Kelly is a fan of Ducks. Maybe that’s why he’s watching Tim Tebow throw passes today. — Shooter McGavin (@ShooterMcGavin_) March 16, 2015
Sam Bradford… Tim Tebow… I suppose Colt McCoy is next, eh? #EaglesTalk

Look it, if you’re gonna have Sam Bradford you better have a healer on your team. “Broken femur? Tebow, go over there are lay hands on Sam” — Chief (@BarstoolChief) March 16, 2015
Unexpected headline of the week already: “Tim Tebow is working out for the Eagles today.” I think ESPN would relocate to Philly — Pick Six Previews (@PickSixPreviews) March 16, 2015
If the QBs on our roster this season are Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow… I might just kill myself instead.

Ok now Chip is just trying to piss off Philly beat reporters by making them write about Tebow. — Jimmy Kempski (@JimmyKempski) March 16, 2015
DisnESPN must be thrilled about Tebow’s return. They get to make millions propagandizing a completely inept pseudo-QB again. — Let’s Go Spurs! (@JesseGladsaget) March 16, 2015
TEBOW WORKING OUT WITH PHILLY ON 3-16 AND GOD IS PLEASED. — Brian Coulter (@PhilaBCoulter) March 16, 2015
Not on the list
Last week we learned that Tebow wouldn’t be participating in the inaugural NFL Veteran’s Combine, which gives a chance for non-rostered free agents to land with a team. At that point, it appeared that the former Heisman Trophy winner’s career was over (though he hasn’t played in the league in two seasons, Tebow has maintained a willingness to return – so there was at least a glimmer prior to the combine information). However, with this latest bit of news, it appears Tebow had an ace up his sleeve.
For the Eagles, Tebow’s workout is just the latest twist in what has been a roller coaster offseason. The team traded away quarterback Nick Foles for former No. 1 pick Sam Bradford. Philly also traded running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills, signed DeMarco Murray away from the Cowboys and let Jeremy Maclin leave in free agency. Heading into his third season at the helm in Philly, it’s undeniable that this team is Chip Kelly’s and he is all-in, for better or worse.
