Sandwich shop trolls Jadeveon Clowney with sign, Clowney’s camp threatens lawsuit

Jadeveon Clowney has had a couple of recent run-ins with the law, receiving two speeding tickets. A sandwich shop decided to take Clowney’s lead foot and run with it. Sub Station II, in Clowney’s hometown of Rock Hill, South Carolina, posted the following message on its marquee:

“HURRY IN FOR OUR JADEVEON CLOWNEY SUB, IT GOES REALLY FAST.”

Reporter Sara Jane Harris happened to snap a photo of the sign.

According to WRHI AM 1340, Clowney and his agent have threatened to sue shop owner Charlie Ruffalo. Ruffalo is planning on changing the sign, but said he will keep Clowney’s name. He believes that the sign is protected under his First Amendment rights.
